On Tuesday, November 26, the last date of the “Ruta de Oro 2024,” our initiative that is part of the “Reposteras de Oro” program, whose objective is to strengthen the knowledge and skills of women entrepreneurs in the pastry industry in order to promote entrepreneurship and economic autonomy in the country, was held.

Throughout this year, the “Ruta de Oro” has visited several cities in Peru, training more than 920 people to date in cities such as Lima (500 people), Trujillo (120), Arequipa (120) and Piura (180). This last day in Lima is expected to gather more than 800 attendees.

On each day, participants had the opportunity to access specialized workshops and live demonstrations by renowned experts in the world of confectionery, such as Rosalyn Picón, founder of Dulcefina along with Alicorp's consultative sales team. Attendees will also learn innovative techniques that will help them offer attractive and current products in the market.

“With the 'Ruta de Oro' we seek to share knowledge in pastry techniques, as well as practical advice that will boost entrepreneurship and business growth for hundreds of people in the country. This last session of the year is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to take their skills to the next level. Many times, these ideas start small, but with the right training and tools they can become a significant source of income for their households,” said Gustavo Peralta, Alicorp's Gastronomy and Planning Business Director.

In addition, the content and tips shared in these workshops were not limited to face-to-face sessions. We have arranged our digital channels, such as Instagram and Facebook, to expand the reach of these trainings, offering all those interested the possibility to continue learning and developing their skills in the world of baking.

With initiatives such as “Ruta de Oro 2024”, we reaffirm our commitment to support the development of entrepreneurs in Peru, providing them with the tools and knowledge necessary to professionalize their businesses and contribute to the economic growth of their communities.
