In its 2024 edition, the Effie Peru Awards recognized the most outstanding in marketing and communication in the country. This year, Alicorp, a leading company in the food and mass consumption products industry in Peru, won two awards for Casino, in the categories of “Candy, Desserts and Snacks” and “Product relaunch”; and a metal for its initiative “Pots that Develop: the other ranking”, in the category “Positive Change Social Good - Brands”, being the category with the most nominated cases.

In this way, Alicorp added recognition with Casino, one of its emblematic brands, which obtained two Effie awards: silver in the "Candy, Desserts and Snacks" category and silver in "Product relaunch", for its campaign "Casino, la vida does not have just one flavor", developed with the creative agency VML. “Connection and closeness with younger consumers are the axes of our strategy. Casino is a brand that since its conception embraces diversity and authenticity, demonstrating that life can have many colors, flavors and nuances, values that it shares with its consumers and that it has transmitted in its codes," highlighted Alvaro Rojas, vice president of marketing at Alicorp.

 

Ollas que Desarrollan: The Other Ranking


From the corporate brand front, Alicorp was awarded a silver Effie for the deployment of its strategy to publicize, through SUMMUM - the most important gastronomic ranking in the country - the work of hundreds of leaders of common pots who have been part of Pots that Develop. For its implementation, the company had the support of various allies such as the NGO Juguete Pendiente and the agencies Valor Socios de Marca, Tribeca Media Group Perú, LLYC and Mindshare. 

“Ollas que Desarrollo' has been garnering important recognition at the local and international level. This program has already managed to contribute, through the empowerment of the common pots and their leaders, with more than 440 common pots in 9 regions of the country, benefiting more than 37 thousand people through 3 million 200 thousand food rations and the training of more than 1000 leaders. “Results like these demonstrate the great impact that joint work between communities and private companies can achieve. “United we can feed a better, more sustainable tomorrow for everyone,” added the vice president.
