In line with the purpose of our brand cereal and soda Life to encourage people to enjoy a healthy life, we decided to join Adidas, together, transform lives through the biggest and most important race of Peru: Lima 42K. Our goal was to donate 40 tons of cereals to the Food Bank of Peru and thanks to all participants, We did it!.
Life Marathon 42k Lima 2019, gathered 18 thousand athletes from more than 50 countries tested their strength in the main streets and avenues of Lima.
42, 21 and 10 kilometers long by category was the goal that took the participants of the race, which this year also registered record beat.
In this context, under the slogan #TodosTenemosUnaMeta we join the Marathon inviting athletes to join the race with a commitment to donate 2kg Life cereal to the Food Bank of Peru for each registered broker.
Vanessa Montero, our Director of Global Food business reaffirms this commitment:
"We are committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle and our mission is to turn the marathon into a sustainable event acting against problems such as anemia, therefore, decided to donate 40 tons of food to the Food Bank of Peru, which will benefit nearly 50,000 people."
From Life seek to motivate people to enjoy a healthy lifestyle regardless of the sport or discipline to practice, if we choose the running it is because it is the most democratic of all sports because you only need a pair of shoes and you can go jogging wherever you are, you do not need an infrastructure or invest in classes, equipment, clothing, etc. You can practice anywhere and anytime.
In addition to the running we have also sponsored various events on a smaller scale, including tennis and golf for Life because there is no single way to live healthy. We committed to being a brand that meets the purpose of our company: feeding a better tomorrow. Therefore, we will continue to seek opportunities to promote healthy lifestyles for all Peruvians.
