  • Alicorp's sustainability is based on its strategy, which has four pillars: well-being, value chain development, environmental care and structural factors.
     

At the Triple Impact and Sustainability event organized by Círculo de Ganadores Maya, Alicorp, a mass consumption company leader in the Bolivian market with brands such as Fino, Karina, Gordito, Regia and Don Vittorio, as well as cleaning and home care products such as Bolívar, Uno, Opal, Patito and Sapolio, presented its sustainability model that it has been implementing in Bolivia, presenting its success stories, among which its alliance with GreenSide Solutions stood out.

Alicorp's sustainability management has been recognized by different rankings and awards such as the Top 5 of Merco ESG 2024 in the Food sector, the “Cosas 2024” award for Corporate Social Responsibility; “Maya 2024” for Industrial Sustainability; and “Paul Harris 2024” for Business Excellence. The company works according to its purpose of Feeding a tomorrow and to this end implements various programs aligned with a strategy based on four pillars: well-being, development of the value chain, care for the environment and structural factors.

Based on our four pillars of sustainability, we build long-term strategic alliances with organizations consistent with our principles, such as the Food Bank of Bolivia or GreenSide Solutions”, said Cynthia Valencia, Corporate Affairs Manager of Alicorp in Bolivia.

During the event, Alicorp presented the triple impact achieved through its alliance with GreenSide Solutions, recovering discarded oil from 1,500 restaurants in the trunk axis, preventing it from ending up polluting drains, receiving as exchange inputs for their businesses. In addition, 160 clients have participated in training sessions to generate oil consumption efficiencies of up to 30%.

The Triple Impact and Sustainability event brought together fourteen exhibitors and more than 40 companies from all over the country.
