Gala Verde is the most important private fundraising event for environmental conservation in the country and promotes the protection of forests, protected areas and species in Bolivia. In its fourth edition, it brought together private companies such as Alicorp, non-governmental organizations, as well as Bolivian opinion leaders, artists, personalities and influencers committed to conservation.

“We value these initiatives that are gaining space that allow various actors to join in to contribute to building a more sustainable future, which is in line with our sustainability strategy, based on three pillars: well-being, care for the environment and development of the supply chain. value,” expressed Cynthia Valencia, Corporate Affairs Manager of Alicorp Bolivia.

Alicorp's donation to the 2024 Green Gala will translate into an economic contribution to the conservation of the Harpy Eagle, an emblematic species that has its habitat in the Amboró National Park and Integrated Management Natural Area. This protected area of ​​Bolivia is one of the reserves with the greatest diversity in the world since 3 different ecosystems converge in its territory.

During the ceremony, in addition to fundraising, participants had the opportunity to take a simulated tour of the 23 national protected areas of Bolivia, discovering the natural and cultural beauty of these spaces, ranging from the imposing Andean glaciers to the lush Amazon forests.

In this way, Alicorp ratified its commitment to caring for the environment and, through the event, was able to contribute to projects aimed at the conservation of flora and fauna in the country's forests and protected areas.
